PCA (Personal Care Attendant)

Here at Kendrick Kare Agency, we provide aides that will work with disabled children, usually in their homes or outside their homes (including school settings and more upon request).

KKA PCAs responsibilities include doing housework, administering medication, helping young ones with bathing and grooming, offering companionship, schoolwork, mentoring, providing transportation to and from doctor’s appointments.

KKA PCAs also provide emotional support for the young ones.

Self-care tasks are also called ADLS: Activities of Daily Living. They include things like dressing, bathing, eating and using the bathroom. It depends on how old the child is, but if they are not able to do these things the way most kids their age can, they may qualify for PCA services.
